System Development Life Cycle

Wilson Technology’s software development methodology is tailored to meet the custom requirements of our clients.  We apply an iterative approach that enables us to use knowledge gained throughout the project lifecycle to incrementally grow an effective solution.

Using prototypes and iterative cycles, we deliver fully functioning systems through successive refinements of incremental internal/external releases.  This iterative approach allows the project team to apply full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies in smaller more manageable increments.  Because each iteration ends with an executable release, the development team stays focused on results.  Frequent status checks help ensure that the project stays on schedule. An iterative approach also makes it easier to accommodate tactical changes in requirements, features or schedule.

Project deliverables and milestones are identified in a detailed project plan, a deliverable of the Scope and Assessment Phase.  Our clients have an opportunity to review progress and can modify time and cost estimates at each milestone.
