Technology Introduces Software Program
to Streamline Execution of Reports
Newtown Square, PA, June 19, 2002-
Wilson Technology, a specialist in legal software development, has unveiled
a new program called Smart Queue. The fully automated program is the first
of its kind to run and monitor reports and other processes in batches or
queues. By setting up various queues, Smart Queue executes the processes in
the order specified, monitors their progress and also sends status
notifications via e-mail.
“Up until now law firms have relied too much on manual labor and limited
software programs to execute and run critical daily, weekly and monthly
reports, proformas and the like.” said Bruce Wilson, President of Wilson
Technology. “Smart Queue allows firms to set up and run reports and other
processes both sequentially and simultaneously. With Smart Queue you
literally set it up, start it and forget it.”
Smart Queue sends out status e-mails and messages to computers, cell phones
and beepers. If a system error occurs, Smart Queue notifies the user
instantaneously and stops all dependent process from executing until the
critical process has been fixed and rerun. Smart Queue has also been
programmed to skip over all previously completed processes and pick up where
it left off.
Smart Queue was designed to execute standard Elite “stored” reports, custom
stored reports, scripts and SQL statements, proformas, time loads, cost
interfaces and system backups. It also works seamlessly with other software
programs from Wilson Technology.
“With benefits like hands free processing, quick turnaround time on running
reports and e-mail and cell phone notification capabilities, Smart Queue
enables law firms to streamline the running of reports and run more
efficiently,” remarked Wilson.
Detailed information on Smart Queue can be found in the Products and
Services section of the company’s website, www.wilsontechnology.com. A CD
presentation can be ordered online or by calling 610.353.9879.
